Assignment: Combinational and Sequential Circuits

OBJECTIVES:

After completing the assignment, you should be able?to:

INTRODUCTION:

In?this?assignment,?you?will?explore?the?operation?of?commonly?applied?logic?gates,?flip-?flops,?and build?a?custom?counter using them. You will?also?display the?counting?digits?using a 7-segment LED display.

You?are?required?to?build?a?4-bit?synchronous?counter?that?repeatedly?counts?from?the?first?digit to the?last?digit?of?your?student?ID.?If?there?are repeated?digit(s)?in your?student?ID, you may replace?it?(or them) by?any?other non-repeating?digit(s).?The?counting?should?be?applied?everytime a?pushbutton is depressed.?The digit?being counted?will?be displayed on a ?7-
